College Impressions Series: Elon University

In a word - Elon is impressive.

Overall Impressions

Elon, NC is a small, college town with a cute downtown area, located about 30 minutes from Greensboro, NC. Elon is a private, liberal arts university and it offers Division 1 athletics programs. They are test-optional and all students are automatically considered for merit scholarships. It is a medium sized campus with about 6,500 undergraduate students, most of whom live on campus. The facilities are state of the art and the campus is pristine, giving formal, fancy, impressive vibes. The average class size is 20 and all classes are capped at 33 students. The campus is progressive in nature, but definitely lacks diversity amongst their student body, which they say they are actively working to improve. Check out their website to learn more.
